Squarezebras.com is a virtual optical showroom and store. It is associated with Coley Opticians of 30 Broad Street, March, Cambs, PE15 8TG Telephone: 01354 653393. All Optical products are dispensed and shipped by qualified optical staff based at this practice. References made to Coley Opticians in these terms and conditions are in relation to Squarezebras.com.
Availability of Products
1. Squarezebras.com offer all featured products subject to availability. We will of course inform you by phone or email of an item’s availability when we review and confirm your order. Alternatively, please feel free to contact us if you would like to check the availability of specific items prior to purchase. Items may sometimes be subject to a delivery confirmation if we are waiting for our suppliers. We will always let you know if this is the case.
2. Squarezebras.com will not charge you for goods that we cannot supply. However we will not be responsible for any damage or losses that you may suffer if we fail to supply goods.
3. Squarezebras.com have displayed all available goods as true to life and accurate as possible within the limitations of the photography and reproduction techniques available to us.
Specialisms
4. Squarezebras.com is not permitted by law to supply prescription optical products or spectacles of any sort to wearers under 16 years of age. This also applies to the registered partially sighted or blind people. These products may be purchased by visiting our associated practice Coley Opticians of 30 Broad Street March, Cambs, PE15 8TG where our qualified staff will be happy to ensure that you receive the necessary expertise.
5. Squarezebras.com are committed to providing the best product, therefore, we dispense lenses with a spherical power of between +8.00 and -10.00 (dioptres) and a cylindrical power up to + 4.00 (dioptres). We will be very happy to supply all other lenses when you visit our associated practice Coley Opticians, 30 Broad Street, March, Cambs, PE15 8TG where our qualified staff can guide you.
6 NHS vouchers. If you qualify for a NHS voucher please forward your voucher by post to Squarezebras.com at 30 Broad St. March, Cambgridgeshire, PE15 8TG. If the NHS voucher is not received by the time y our new glasses are dispatched, the full cost of the glasses will be charged to your credit card. If the voucher is forwarded later a refund up to the value of the voucher will be credited to you.
7 Contact lenses. Your contact lens prescription must be less than 12 months old and the name of the prescribing practice needs to be provided.
Liability
6. Squarezebras.com confirms that no points within these terms and conditions are intended to exclude or restrict rights you have by law in respect of goods supplied. We would point out that a number of goods may be the subject of additional warranties or guarantees given by their makers directly to you.
7. Squarezebras.com do not accept responsibility for damage to goods caused by you.
8. Squarezebras.com and Coley Opticians will not be liable to any person for damage or loss arising from the use of goods advertised on our site or dispensed by our associated practice Coley Opticians 30 Broad Street March, Cambs, PE15 8TG.
9. Without prejudice to your statutory rights the information contained in squarezebras.com is given without warranty we would draw your attention to the fact that we do not guarantee or warrant the information is accurate, complete or current or that use of this site will be uninterrupted or error free.
10. Squarezebras.com or Coley Opticians will not be responsible for claims relating to the availability of squarezebras.com range, our ecommerce engine, web-site, and place of purchase.
11. We would like you to note that the above exclusions of liability do not apply to damage arising from personal injury or death where they are proved to result from our negligence or the negligence of our suppliers, employees and agents in the course of their duty.
12. At squarezebras.com an average height for bifocal lenses is used. This information is provided in our frequently asked questions section. We recommend if you are unsure about this you can either attend Coley Opticians where we can provide you with measurements required.
13. Squarezebras.com and Coley Opticians will not be liable for any mistakes made when submitting the PD measurement and prescription details supplied by you, although under our complete satisfaction guarantee we will, out of goodwill, replace your lenses free of charge (once only)
14. At Squarezebras.com and Coley Opticians all re-glazing o your own frame is completed at the risk of the owner. We will not be liable for damages or loss of frames sent for re-glazing .We will not be liable for any breakage or damages as a result of the re-glazing process.
Customers Obligations
15. By placing your order with Squarezebras.com or Coley Opticians through the website you confirm that you are 17 years of age or more and legally able to purchase prescription spectacles from us.
16. You confirm that you are neither registered partially sighted or blind.
17. You will be happy to provide any details reasonably requested by us to confirm that you are legally entitled to purchase prescription optical products.
18. You confirm the accuracy of your correct name, address and date of birth and to supply any other details reasonably requested by us.
19. You confirm that you have completed a full eye examination and site test in the past 24 months You are imputing correctly all prescription information. Should you be in any doubt do not input the information and instead fax a copy of your actual prescription document to squarezebra.com at 01354 655959, or e:mail a copy to coleyopticians@aol.com
20.Squarezebras.com confirm that prices displayed on our site are correct at the time of display. However we reserve the right to make adjustments to our pricing structure from time to time without notice. We would state that prices confirmed on finalised order specifications will not be subject to alteration unless there is a specification change.
21. Squarezebras.com makes reasonable effort to maintain pricing structures; however, these may be subject to variations caused by factors beyond our control.
22. Squarezebras.com displays all pricing to include VAT at the current standard rate. VAT is applied to all sales to customers located within the UK or within another member state of the European Community.
Payment Information
23. Squarezebras.com accept payment by the following credit/debit cards.
Visa/Mastercard/Switch/Solo Or alternatively with a cheque correctly completed. Cash purchases may be made at Coley Opticians practice, 30 Broad St. March Cambs. Tel 01354 653393
24. Squarezebras.com will process Credit and charge card payments subject to validation and authorisation by the card issuer. We will not be liable for any non-delivery or delay if a card issuer refuses to authorise payment.
25. Squarezebras.com will be happy to accept payment for goods by sterling cheque drawn on a UK clearing Bank. Please note that goods will only be ordered when the cheque has cleared and we will not be responsible for any delay this may cause. Cheques should be made payable to N.P.Coley Optician.
Dispatch of Goods
27. Although most products will be dispatched within 5 working days Squarezebras.com aims to deliver your order to the address given at the time of order confirmation within 14 working days.
28. Squarezebras.com will make every reasonable effort to ensure that the goods are delivered by the delivery date instructed by us. We are unable to absolutely guarantee delivery of goods by that date. You therefore agree that we will not be liable to you for any loss, damage or charge caused by late delivery of any goods supplied by us.
29. Squarezebras.com would point out that the risk of damage to the goods passes to you as they are delivered to the address specified in your instructions.
Returns
30. In the unlikely event of you not being entirely happy with your purchase, simply return the products to Squarezebras.com, or at our associate optical practice Coley Oopticians 30 Broad St March Cambs PE15 8TG within 10 working days for adjustment, replacement, exchange (once only at no cost) or refund.
31. The risk of damage to any goods you return will remain with you until the goods have been delivered to our premises and accepted by us.
General
33. Any notices served under these terms and conditions will be in writing and deemed to be given when either personally delivered, sent by confirmed fax or 3 days after being sent by registered mail to the address set out in our Despatch Note.
34. Failure by us to enforce any of these terms and conditions will be deemed to have no effect on our right to enforce the remaining terms and conditions set out here.
35. Our terms and conditions are potentially subject to change at any time without prior notice
36. The terms and conditions contained in this document are governed by and construed in accordance with English Law.
